Library Information

The role of ANIL is to serve the broader community of Australia by providing information and resources on Islam, Muslims and history and politics of Muslims people and nations.

Australian National Islamic Library, a separate entity is part of the Canberra Islamic Centre and has been in operation since 2002 under CIC. A library sub-committee, chaired by an executive of CIC is responsible for the day-today running of the library and liaises with the CIC executives on policy matters. The library is separated financially and physically from CIC and is currently seeking a DGR status with ATO.
