Australian National Islamic Library trust seeks expression of interest from people in the community to become its trustees. The role of ANIL is to serve the broader community of Australia by providing information and resources on Islam, Muslims and history and politics of Muslims people and nations.

The trustees should have a strong interest in the growth and progress of this public library, should provide input in its governance and initiate its advocacy to the broader community.

Australian National Islamic Library, a separate entity and a trust is part of the Canberra Islamic Centre and was established by CIC under its 2016 constitution as a trust. A library sub-committee, chaired by an executive of CIC is responsible for the day-today running of the library and liaises with the CIC executives on policy matters. The library is separated financially and physically from CIC and is currently seeking a DGR status with ATO.
